AI in Healthcare: Why Planning and Trust Matter

Artificial intelligence is beginning to reshape healthcare in profound ways. But the benefits of these new technologies will not come automatically. They depend on two essential factors: careful planning and genuine trust.
Our COO, Sarankan Sivakanesan, recently published an article in MedWatch where he explored these themes and highlighted what healthcare providers must consider if AI is to become more than a buzzword. He points out that healthcare systems cannot expect results simply by introducing new tools. The real value appears when organizations prepare properly, set baselines, train staff, and make a clear plan for how the technology will improve daily practice.
Trust is the other decisive factor. For AI to succeed in clinical settings, healthcare professionals and patients must feel confident that the tools are safe and reliable. This requires rigorous documentation, compliance with regulations, and certification as medical devices. At Noteless, we share this conviction. That is why we have chosen to develop our solution under MDR Class IIa and CE-mark it as medical equipment. By meeting the same standards as other medical devices, we ensure that clinicians can rely on our technology in practice.
Sarankan also stresses that municipalities and hospitals cannot afford to wait for the upcoming EU AI regulation. The time to act is now. By demanding certified and well-documented solutions today, healthcare providers can start building trust while also accelerating the benefits that AI can bring.
At Noteless, we believe that AI should never add uncertainty to clinical work. It should reduce complexity and free up time for what matters most: the encounter between clinician and patient. This is the vision we are building towards, and we welcome dialogue with healthcare providers who want to shape this future together with us.
